On March 17&18th, Tea Time Animation is hosting an Animation Jam under the theme of “WEAPON OF CHOICE”.

Participants have 48-hours to complete the following animations on a rig/character of their choosing utilizing an atypical or out-of-the-box weapon:

Idle
Movement (Run, Sprint, Jog, etc)
Attack
Death
*Bonus: Optional animation of your choosing!

Work solo or in a team of up to 4 people. Top submissions will be reviewed by industry professionals LIVE on Twitch.tv during the second annual Animation Exchange (#AnimX) Tuesday, March 20th. Like last year, we will take the knowledge sharing and thriving community of game development conferences and make them accessible to all. Full details and speaker line up for the Animation Exchange can be found here. Catch the full event at twitch.tv/TwitchOffice

If that isn’t enough for you, we’ve got some incredible prizes for the winners of the Animation Jam — but we’ll get to that a little later, so keep an eye out.

REGISTER before March 14th to be participate.

      1. Will Teams competing as 2d animators be able to use rough animations as a guide for the competition since 3d animators will already have rigged models to animate?

      2. I’m not sure I understand your question. You’re asking if they can use animations they’ve already animated?

  1. Hi Lana,

Are there any news about when the jam it’s going to start? I’m at the East Coast, so I would like to know the hours so I don’t miss it. Also I would love to know when the reveal of the ‘Weapon of Choice’ is going to be.

    Thanks,

    Alberto
